The shape of the centre stone plays a direct role in the overall design of the ring. Depending on the model, the Edenly selection includes round, princess, rectangular, oval, pear and marquise diamonds. Round diamonds create a more classic silhouette, while oval, pear and marquise shapes produce a more elongated line. Princess and rectangular cuts offer more geometric outlines.
The centre diamond can be highlighted in different ways: with a clean setting, a pavé band, diamonds positioned on either side of the centre stone, or a surrounding arrangement of smaller stones depending on the model. These variations make it possible to choose between a very minimalist solitaire and a design in which diamonds play a more prominent role.
Natural diamond or synthetic diamond
The selection includes solitaire rings with natural diamonds as well as designs with synthetic diamonds. The choice can be made according to the model, the characteristics of the stone and the budget. On certain L’Atelier designs, Edenly also allows the stone and setting to be personalised.
Yellow, white or rose gold, in 9 or 18 carats
Edenly diamond solitaire rings are available in yellow, white or rose gold, with some designs also combining two or three gold colours. 9-carat gold contains 37.5% fine gold, while 18-carat gold contains 75%. Gold colour and gold content are two separate characteristics, so the choice can be based both on the appearance of the metal and on the desired proportion of fine gold.
Edenly white gold is rhodium-plated to give it its bright white appearance. This finish may gradually fade over time, and re-rhodium plating every 3 to 5 years can help restore its appearance.
