Unlike women's wedding rings, where diamonds can cover the whole band, the men's wedding ring relies on restraint. A single diamond, bezel-set, flush with the surface, brings a point of brilliance. A row of small stones, sunk into a groove, stays understated while catching the light. The channel or bezel setting protects the stones and keeps a clean profile, suited to daily wear. No, as long as it stays measured. On a men's wedding ring, the diamond is usually bezel-set and flush with the surface, which gives a discreet brilliance rather than a display. In white gold, it almost blends into the metal.
