The different cross styles
The plain cross, all in gold, relies on the purity of the line: smooth, polished, sometimes with slightly stepped ends. The diamond-set cross carries a row of diamonds along one arm or across its whole surface, for a discreet brilliance. The size varies from a small cross for a child to a more visible piece for an adult. The colour of the gold, yellow, white or rose, is chosen according to taste and the pieces already worn.
