"No one is free if others are oppressed. Following this Leitmotiv, Thai Freedom House's mission is to provide opportunities for people who have fallen through the cracks of society and live almost invisibly around us. These are refugees from impoverished and war-torn countries, indigenous peoples who have been denied basic human rights.
Founded in 2005, the Thai Freedom House works to help refugees from Burma and the indigenous peoples of Thailand by providing detailed information on their situation locally (through a coffee shop) and their website accessible in English. The objective is to find and share resources through an information network on education, health care, vocational training, registration and basic housing for refugees and indigenous peoples in Thailand.
One of the flagship projects of Thai Freedom House is their language program dedicated to creating multiple literates among their target population. It consists of learning the national language of the country of residence (Thai), English to increase job opportunities and Shan (the native language of most students) to preserve their culture. The Edenly team is so proud of their commitment and proud to support a project that gives the world a little color.
When a child has a critical illness, you can hardly imagine what it means for the child and their family. Beyond expressing our deep compassion, it was our wish to support those who have made a point of providing extraordinary moral support in these difficult times.
Since 1987, THE PETITS PRINCES ASSOCIATION has been dreaming of children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 18 with a serious illness. The goal is for the child to find the extra energy he needs to fight his illness, live his passion and realize his dreams. In this context, the association works closely with the family and the treating physicians of the child.
THE PETITS PRINCES currently have 20 permanent and 80 dedicated volunteers who work with more than 150 pediatric departments in France and achieve at least one child's dream per day. We are extremely touched by so much positive energy and happy to be able to contribute to the realization of a child's dream.
Child labour is a very sensitive subject that really worries everybody at Edenly. Indeed, we make all the possible efforts in order to ensure that not a single child is involved in the production process of our jewelry. We make « surprise visits » to factories and we choose our suppliers and partners very carefully because, without a doubt, the place of a child id not the factory but school.
Child labour is notoriously more common in developing countries. India comes first, sadly. More than a worker in three wouldn’t be fourteen. Partage operates mailny here, precisely in the state of Uttar Pradesh where the death toll is the highest of the whole country. Their actions develop around four directions in order to ensure the good development of the child: education, health, protection against abuses and community development.
Partage celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. Their intervention areas in the childhood protection are as large as admirable. The period 2001-2010 was proclamed by the United Nations « International Decade for the promotion of a culture of non-violence and peace for the children of the world » following a campaign started by Partage. Supporting this association is a duty.
Nobody can remain indifferent to the situation in Syria – with all the images of violence, destruction, suffering ... Since its inception in 2011, the war in Syria has caused more than 500,000 deaths according to estimates of several NGOs. Children are the first victims of this conflict.
Syria Charity is a French association that intervenes directly in Syria. They ensure the delivery and targeted distribution of food and basic necessities. They support besieged cities and provide medical assistance. In this context, Syria Charity inaugurated a mother-child hospital in 2015
It is a shame that we are not able to give these children the peace they deserve. But we are proud to be able to support an organization that fights every day to make their lives a little more bearable. Thank you, Syria Charity!
The happiness of a child begins in the smallest social cell - the family. No matter why a family is in a difficult situation, it is important that children suffer as little as possible.
CASA conducts social solidarity actions in Portugal. They provide support, food, clothing and assistance to find housing for the homeless, unprivileged children and adolescents, victims of violence or abuse, regardless of their nationality, religious belief, political or ethnic background.
Most of the association works through volunteering. More than 1,300 volunteers in Portugal and Madeira support more than 7,000 poor families and 1,600 homeless people.
Edenly supports the courage and enthusiasm of the CASA. We are proud to be able to bring this little support.
