The quality of edenly gold

Pure gold (24 carats) is too soft to make jewellery out of, so it is mixed with other metals to make it stronger.

- 18 carat gold means that in 24g of alloy there is 18g of pure gold, so 75.01% pure gold. It is also known as 750/1000 gold.
- 14 carat gold means that in every 24g of alloy there are 14g of  pure gold, that is 58.5% of the gold is pure. It is also called 585/1000 gold.
- 9 carat gold means that in every 24g of alloy, 9g (37.5%) are pure gold. It is also called 374/1000 gold.

18 carat gold therefore contains more of the soft gold than 9 or 14 carat gold.

Edenly jewellery is all made from 18 or 14 carat gold (if you create a wedding ring you can choose the quality of the gold out of 14 or 18 carats).

Edenly provides a certificate with each item of jewellery detailling the precise weight of the jewellery and its quality.
