1. Research on her taste

To be sure to please her, you need to find the right ring that suits her taste, be it a wedding ring or to celebrate a special event such as her birthday, Christmas or Valentine's Day.

Have a look at some of her current jewellery and ask the following questions:

- What kind of gold does she wear: white gold? yellow gold? pink gold? or a mix of several golds?

- What style are her rings:

* Is the ring big or small?


* Is the shape curved or straight-edged?

* Are they classic or original?

2. Choose Her Ring

If you have answers to the majority of these questions, you can either:

Things to bear in mind:

- For an engagement ring it is customary to give a solitaire (a ring with a single diamond). The best sellers for this kind have a round diamond cut, which gives off greatest sparkle:

- For marriage, you could choose a solid gold ring, but we suggest that you give her a diamond wedding ring if you wish to make this special occasion unforgetable.Ideally, she should get married with an engagement ring that matches, (for example if the diamond on her engagement ring was round, her wedding ring should follow suit).
